Honouring O’Sensei Morihei Ueshiba, the founder of Aikido

 In Japan, the months of April and May are quite busy with celebrations. Within the Aikido world, there are a few events that are worth noting:

  • The anniversary of the founder's passing (O’Sensei Morihei Ueshiba), April 26th, 1969

  • The Aiki Shrine Festival on April 29th

  • The annual All Japan Aikido Demonstration on May 22nd (Maria Sensei will be attending with Mark Larson Sensei 6th Dan)

Tatami Studio is honouring the memory of O’Sensei with Aikido Kyu Belt testing for both Kids and Adults along with a Tai Sai Celebration!
